Advanced Animal Behaviour Courses

Learn and understand advanced principles of animal behaviour (species - specific) which will give you the skill and knowledge to enjoy and interact correctly with your pet. Many students have used this course as a stepping stone to pursue a career in animal behaviour.

The Advanced Behaviour courses for Dogs or Cats:
The basic Behaviour courses for cats or dogs is a prerequisite for enrolling for the Advanced Behaviour Course.  
These Advanced Courses is a one-year certificate course and the attendance of a three-day seminar/workshop is compulsory. The student has the option of attending this compulsory seminar in either Cape Town or in Pretoria.
 
A student can enrol in the same year for the Basic course and the Advanced Course.

The Advanced Horse Behaviour course:
The Basic Course for Horses is a prerequisite before students can enrol for the Advanced Horse Behaviour Course. To be successful in this course a student must be familiar with ground work, stable routines and be a fairly accomplished rider. The instructors assisting with the practical aspects of this course are all SANEF qualified and SANEF guidelines are adhered to. This course is also a one-year course and the attendance of a three-day seminar/workshop in Pretoria is compulsory.  

A student can enrol in the same year for the Basic Horse course and the Advanced Horse Course.
